Vlogging is supposed to be enjoyable when it stops being enjoyable, it’s time to reevaluate. This ties in with the last tip a bit. Some vloggers really start to get stressed out when they are putting out so much content on a regular basis. That being said, vlogging is supposed to be fun for you and for your followers. They will be able to tell when it’s forced and/or when you’re stressed out about the whole thing. If you need to take a break from making your videos on screen share or change things up in order to enjoy it again, do it. It’s your channel, and you’re doing it because you like it.
Don’t do the same old thing, all the time. Some people have boring lives. If you’re not always out doing wild and crazy things, your content may get stale quickly (which is also why vlogging daily is usually a little rough for people as well). If you’re a vlogger, do something crazy once in awhile. Try one of the challenges that you see going around between content creators (the Chubby Bunny challenge, etc). Do a collaboration video; make a video with your family, just do something fun and out of the ordinary to give your viewers a look into a different side of you. Trust me, it will help keep your content fresh and entertaining.
There are lots of things that you should consider when you start vlogging, and you want to make sure that you keep up with things that make it fun and exciting for you and those that may be watching you. Take a look around, get ideas from other people, and have a great time with whatever it is that you may be looking to do with your content.
